Lettering & Type authors Bruce Willen and Nolen Strals were recently interviewed by Elliot Jay Stocks for the new limited-edition typography magazine 8 Faces. Willen and Strals talk about the inspirations and process behind Lettering & Type and pick the eight fonts and lettering styles that they would wish to be marooned with on a proverbial design island. Also included in the first issue are interviews with Erik Spiekermann, Jessica Hische, Ian Coyle, Jason Santa Maria, Jos Buivenga, and Jon Tan.
